The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working well. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming blocked.
