Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly adept, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on a variety of floor types. Select models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate and creates maps of floors and rooms.

The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum in the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms and also a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls and even over thresholds that are raised without issue. However it was a bit difficult getting down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.
The S1's docking station automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for about a dozen cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although it will differ based on how much you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just dragging a pad across the surface. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station, if needed.
This robot has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or filled. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily picks up all kinds of debris, including the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it can sometimes get caught in the small area mats or rugs that I have in my house (which is something you can control by creating a virtual boundary within the application). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with a pair of spinning mops that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation as required. The mops can also be replenished at the top of the station as they are required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. However, use this link has even more impressive features. It is a great cleaner, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure that an effective, customized cleaning is completed.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate small spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can move from one room to another without changing direction which is a great feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than some competitors and leaves a large margin around obstacles. This can result in missing spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and well-organized. It should be simple to use for both novices and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It is accessible through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and allows you to keep an eye on its progress from anywhere. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video monitoring. But, you'll require a reliable internet connection to use it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of removing dirt and debris but it's not always able to reach every last particle of dust. It's important to vacuum often, at least once a week. This is particularly important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is made to do exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your Wi-Fi at home network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it does not have mopping capabilities and comes with a plastic body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've seen in this price range, even though it's not equipped to wipe your floor. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and determine the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling and washing system that is hands-free.
Its mops also impress with its 2700Pa power that can tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested did not show a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it did not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising as it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that lets it reach corners and tight places that other vacuums are unable to. It also stores dust in a larger dustbin which means you have empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which reduces the cost. The robot is able to detect carpets, and boost suction if needed. You can also mark off areas you want to keep out of the app.
